Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s car will feature an Elvis Presley-inspired paint scheme for the Chevy Rock & Roll 400 on Sept. 8 at Richmond. The design was unveiled this week during the ceremonies surrounding the 30th anniversary of his death.

CONCORD, N.C. -- As Budweiser and Dale Earnhardt Jr. look to shake, rattle and roll into the Chase for the Nextel Cup with a commemorative Elvis 30th Anniversary paint scheme during Saturday's Chevy Rock & Roll 400 (7 p.m. ET, ABC), Motorsports Authentics is lending support with a full line of licensed merchandise for the last special paint scheme for the No. 8 Chevrolet.

Earnhardt's No. 8 Chevrolet is a predominantly white scheme with black and red highlights and features Elvis' image on the hood and rear quarter panels, plus the King's image and "Elvis 30th" on the deck lid for race at Richmond International Raceway. Budweiser is the official beer partner of the 30th Anniversary Elvis week and Elvis Presley Enterprises. Earnhardt unveiled the car on the front steps of Elvis' Graceland mansion on Aug. 13, with the car on display for Elvis fans in the Elvis Presley Automobile Museum throughout the week-long celebration.

Presley, who revolutionized American pop music with his rocking, soulful singing style and became a hero to several generations of music fans, died 30 years ago at his home in Memphis, Tenn.

Motorsports Authentics, the leader in the design, promotion, marketing and distribution of licensed motorsports merchandise, in an effort to commemorate this special partnership between the King of Rock 'n' Roll and the King of Beers, has made a full line of merchandise available for Earnhardt fans and Elvis supporters worldwide. Included in the Earnhardt/Elvis 30th line of merchandise are die-cast collectible cars, T-shirts, decals, magnets, guitar bottle openers, twill jackets, collector pins and much more. Product will be available at mass retail, authorized dealer outlets, trackside and on QVC and the NASCAR.COM Superstore. Product is also available through the Racing Collectables Club of America.

"Dale Jr. is a big Elvis fan, so the King of Rock 'n' Roll and the current king of NASCAR coming together is a fans' dream come true," said Mark Dyer, president and CEO of Motorsports Authentics. "Budweiser, Elvis Presley Enterprises and Motorsports Authentics have developed some very cool and unique merchandise to commemorate this special occasion, and we know Elvis and Earnhardt Jr. fans will be excited to take home a piece of this historic occasion."
